Our Expertise & Mission

"Embrace Life's Journey Without pain"

Hi, I’m Shannon – Founder of WanderWell Physical Therapy! I started WanderWell to provide the kind of care I always wished for: personalized, whole-body therapy that goes beyond treating just a symptom. With over a decade of experience, I specialize in stubborn orthopedic issues, low back and SI joint pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction—addressing what’s often overlooked in traditional care.

I love helping people uncover patterns, restore balance, and move freely—whether hiking, lifting, chasing kids, or simply living without limits. I also guide patients through prenatal and postpartum care, using movement, breath, and positioning to make birth easier and recovery smoother. My approach is hands-on, holistic, and always evolving. At WanderWell, we help you embrace life’s journey without pain.

Physical Therapist, DPT, Owner

Before opening WanderWell in South Seattle, I traveled as a physical therapist across 10 states, exploring how people live, move, and heal in different environments. That journey inspired the name WanderWell—and my belief that everyone deserves to wander well through life: free to move, explore, and live without pain holding them back.

My approach is holistic, hands-on, and always evolving. I consider the whole system—nervous, muscular, skeletal, and emotional—and I’m committed to ongoing learning to bring the most thoughtful care to every person I work with. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me planning my next trip, reading a great book, or cheering way too hard for the Buffalo Bills.
